Star Wars: Galactic Civil War RPG

Rules: travel anywhere and do just about anything, whether it be Soldier, smuggler, criminal, farmer, bartender, or trader. Support either side of the war or be a simple civilian trying to survive, or smuggle goods to whomever you wish.

Keep it Star Wars: Don't introduce anything that hasn't been here. Research Wookiepedia for all things Star Wars.

Keep it clean: Limit the swearing, unless you use words like "Kriffing" or "Stang!" which are actually curse words of the Star Wars universe.

Jedi and Sith are scarce in this era. Only the first three people to sign up (besides me) will have the choice of becoming Jedi. Sith cannot be chosen because their are only two, but Dark Jedi are allowed. If you want to be a Sith or Jedi, You will have better luck in the Clone Wars or New Republic RPGs.

Setting: Great Jedi Purge. The Galaxy is in the grip of darkness as Emporer Palpatine tightens his grasp around the planets that once served the Old Republic. The constuction of the Death Star has begun, but most planets are unaware of it's existence. A Rebel Alliance has been formed by Senator Bail Organa, who lies undercover in what remains of the Senate. The quest to find surviving Jedi is their only hope of ever destroying the Empire, but none have been revealed. The only known Jedi are Obi-Wan and Yoda, who live in exile. Obi Wan is currently watching over Luke from a distance as he grows up with his Aunt and Uncle and Yoda is regathering his strength on Degobah. In the shadows, Darth Vader, formely Anakin Skywalker, is training an Ultimate Weapon o destruction: his secret apprentice, hidden from the Emporer so that he may one day be strong enough to destroy him. Amidst the confusion and looming shadow of a war about to begin, a small garrison prepares for the comming storm....

Bio: Born on Mygeeto just before the Clone Wars, Rejhal learned to lookup to and admire the Clone Troopers, and help them on request. To him, they were a symbol of the defenders of Democracy, though he admired the Jedi even more. When he was 4 years old, the Seperatists came to Mygeeto and the Clone Troopers ordered for evacuation, but he was seperated from his family in the mad rush and standed. He learned to fend for himself and find a safe place when battles occured, and as he hid behind a pile of rubble on one fateful day, he witnessed the slaughter of his new friend, Jedi Ki-A-Mundi, at the hands of his own Clone Troopers. Rejhal's trust and admiration for the Clone Troopers was shattered and he fled the planet as soon as he could. He then learned that the Republic had become an Empire and that a Great Jedi Purge was in motion, and Rejhal vowed that he would avenge the Jedi. He stumbled upon the Rebellion shortly, and was recruited as a technition due to his early-on talent with machines. When he was ten, he joined the army itself. The war is now about to begin, and he waits quietly for his first combat drop onto Dantooien, an agricultural planet of tall grass and wide-open plains.

Rejhal was in the hangar bay, waiting for the old republic Landing Craft to finish preping so they could get on and take off. Dantooien was a small planet at one time inhabited by farmers and tradesmen, but it was evacuated late in the Clone Wars, and now it's only occupants were Imperial Troops, all of them were couped up in a small base. The Rebels had appeared out of hyperspace. Immediatly port of the Rebel Star Cruiser was an Imperial Star Destroyer. The Proximity alarms sounded, and Rejhal among many other soldiers were ordered to get to their respective star fighters and launch. Rejhal located his A-Wing, was helped into the cockpit, and launched with his wingmates.
The intercomm in his sarfighter crackled to life. "All starfighters to fly and fire at will. We will disorganize the Imperial starfighters and play to our own, individual strengths."
Rejhal smiled at this. This would be all too fun.
The Imperial Star Destroyer was already deploying it's TIE Fighters, and he could see TIE Bombers and TIE Intercepters among them as well.
