| While I made this thread mainly for the purpose of the new Star Wars game titled The Force Unleashed, you can also discuss other details such as movies, books, and whatever else you can think of. Have fun... The Force Unleashed comes out on all stations including Wii, X-Box 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, NDS, and several others, exept maybe GBA. Basically, you play as Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice, taking place between Episodes III and IV, and hunt down the remaining Jedi. You are a Secret apprentice however, so you will have to fight even stormtroopers if the Emporer is to remain unaware of your existence. Take on Rancors, Felucians, Jedi, and starfighters as you play through your missions, and unleash the potential of the force. The game is simulation based, so everything brakes or shatters the way it would n real life, which is effected by how and were you hit it. Say, you hit a piece of glass in the corner with a metal ball. That corner shatters and cracks, hit it again in the middle, the entire thing is in fragments. All substances act the way they would in real life, even skeletons, ice, compound items of multiple surfaces, and jelly. Enemies will react occordingly with how you attack them, so it you force grip and throw them, they will try to grab onto something, even if it's another stormtrooper. If they grab onto a wooden plank sticking out about 50 feet above the ground, for example, and throw another stormtrooper his way, the new stormtrooper grabs onto his feet and the wooden beam begins to splinter and crack exactly where the first stormtrooper has his hand. As you progress through your game of monkeys in a barrel, the plank will continue to crack and eventually break. Sounds fun, doesn't it? | |

| It does. DO you have Empire at War? That is a fun game, and this should be no different. | |

| Killer....penguins? First there's a movie about penguins traveling to and from the nest, then there's one about singin'/dancin' penguins, now there's a star wars game with killer penguins in it? What is it with you humans and penguins?
Anyway, no, I don't have Empire At War, though I heard it was good.
This new game comes out April 8. | |

| Yeah, Godzilla: Unleashed sounds good. I can't wait to play this game, though! Just looking at the pictures, videos, it's awesome! Here's a link: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/3067.htmlWatch all the videos, but not the user ones, they have little relevancy. Their is one User videos you should deffinetly watch, though. It's the one called "More Star Wars Tech Demos!" It's an old video, so they didn't have the release date planned. | |

| Have you seen the "A Clone Apart" series on Youtube? It's like Halo's Red vs. Blue. It's non-canon, but it's funny. They have three episodes up now, and each one is divided into two parts. | |

| REPORT!!!! A new article at Gamespy.com (link below) states that every version of the game has something unique in it. Whil all the platforms follow the same story, none of them are ports. The article below talks about some of the unique features seen on the PSP version of the game, which not only covers all the material the X-box 360 version does, (Which means Felucia, Raxus Prime, Coruscant, TIE Fighter Factory all confirmed for PSP!!! YEAH!) but also features additional levels, such as the Jedi Temple, as well as a Historic Mode, which allows you to reenact at least five classic battles from the films as one or the other character, who are also suped up just like the Secret Apprentice. Click on link and read before continuing post: http://psp.gamespy.com/playstation-portable/star-wars-the-force-unleashed/847754p1.htmlAll this comes at a price, though not a big deal when it sinks in, or if you plan on getting this and/or one of the other versions: No DMM or Euphoria, the techniques that made everything act so realistic. IGN also reports this about the PSP version: The graphics are silk-smooth and the animation is at an all-time high, and the damage still has convincing quality to it. Still very destructive. http://psp.ign.com/articles/847/847646p1.htmlGlad to see the PSP is getting the recognition and realization it deserves. Guess that's what happens when youv'e been working on it for two years. My predictions list for historic mode: Bespin Duel (confirmed) Jabba's brigde (confirmed) Geonosis (confirmed) Mustafar Duel Naboo Duel Hopeful Additions: Duel in the Death Star (Luke vs. Vader Round 2) The Invisible Hand (Anakin kills Dooku) Tatooiene (Massacre the Tusken Raiders) Duel in the Senate (Yoda vs. Emporer in the debate room/FORCE PLAY-GROUND!!!) Cudos to Lucas Arts for their hard work on an under-appreciated system!!! | |

| New gameplay footage. Here we get to see the planet Raxus Prime. There's alot of scrap metal and debris floating around in a sort of magnetic field. The Jedi boss character here seems to be using the force to animate the surrounding junk, gathering it together to make soldiers and some hulking creature.... http://www.gametrailers.com/player/30996.html | |

| Another delay, folks: The Force Unleashed is now set for Sept 16th. They must be working really hard trying to get these glitches out or something. Or maybe they are just needing more time to make a decent amount of copies for the game.

| Awesome new video about the Wii, PS2, PSP, and DS versions of the game: http://psp.ign.com/dor/objects/885369/star-wars-the-force-unleashed/videos/sw_webdoc4_tfu_exp_040708.htmlIt's also revealed that you'll be playing as Darth Vader on Kashyyyk in the first level in all versions of the game. Your reason for being there is to find the source of a major spike in Force sensitivity, which turns out to be the infant (or young child) secret apprentice. You have to kill his Jedi Father (mom died in Order 66 defending the Wookies. The wookies were attacked by Clones for helping Yoda and other Jedi escape.) before taking the secret apprentice under your cape and then playing as the fledgling Dark Jedi in the next level years later. No wonder this game has been delayed three times. A game like this must have lots of glitches to fix, and require alot of time to make. "Thousands of Jedi have died cursing Darth Desolous!" -Darth Desolous. | |

| New Historical Mission confirmed: The Invisible Hand http://www.lucasarts.com/games/theforceunleashed/Go look at the screenshots for the PSP and you'll find a picture of Anakin dueling Dooku on General Greivous's flag ship. This duel makes the first time Anakin kills in cold blood, and is perhaps one of his greatest strides to the dark side of the force (perhaps second only to when his mother dies and he kills all those tusken raiders). I can't wait to play this battle! | |

| Better get your PSP fixed, Godzillalien. Here's a video I found on Youtube someone posted. This guy found it when playing Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron. It starts off showing mainly the concept art and the early production demos that show those Jedi using the force powers on the stormtroopers, but later it actually shows new footage from the PSP version (and from The Empire Strikes Back) and talks more about that particular version of the game: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=ptpSmCeU3YoIt also appears to reveal the final historic mission: Inferno- Play as Obi-Wan on Mustafar Objective- Defeat Darth Vader Obi-Wan vs. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, whatever you want to call him at this point in the history of Star Wars, is the most epic duel in all of the six movies. I wonder how well the last cutscene, which will obviously show Darth Vader getting burned by the lavas of Mustafar, will be recreated with the game's CG graphics. It's going to be bone-chilling to watch something like that in the game. It'll be the first time, in any game I've ever played, watching someone so favored get burned like that, actually showing the damage inflicted by the fire, in a game. I mean, sure, I've played as Anakin in Battlefront 2's Assualt mode, gotten sprayed by Jango/Boba Fett's flamethrower, but the damage wasn't animated and he looked the same after the fire went out. Here, it's going to be totally different watching him burn, screaming in pain like in the movie, blistering... I'd like to see that. It was one of the most emotional moments in the movie, watching two people who were as close as brothers shouting at each other... then one of them catching on fire and the other just walking away...

| I have to mail it to Sony, wait a few weeks, then get it back, but it'll be worth it. The switch that opens the disc slot broke, and I couldn't pry the disk slot open. I had Star Wars: Battlefront II in the slot. | |
