Kiryu X Zilla X Varan

Setting: normal Osaka, Japan. A hurricane has recently passed, which started in LA and blew over to Osaka. It stirred up the mud that incased Zilla and Ebirah and split the monsters up into different locations. The hurricane withered away into nothing, wreaking only minor destruction. As Ebirah recovered and went on to attack Kagoshima, a small force was sent out to stop him. At the same time, Zilla has risen out of the the sea to terrorize Osaka, and Varan was already their, and the monsters are closing in on each other to fight. Deemed the larger threat, Kiryu is sent out to combat the two monsters...

Three jets carried Kiryu out to the city. The pilots noted the UFOs circling the area, but they didn't seem to challange them in any way. They saw the destruction the monsters caused as they headed towards each other. Seeing how urgent the situation was, they decided to do a stunt launch as they had when Kiryu fought Godzilla the second time. They powered him up, Fired up his engines, and let him go. He flew incredibly fast towards Varan, who was causing the most destruction. As Kiryu skimmed low to the ground, he bent forward to bring more force into the charge. He hit Varan at full force. Varan was sent careening through the street, hitting the ground hard and sending concrete and debris everywhere. With Varan at a safe distance, Kiryu focused on Zilla. Both Kiryu and Zilla let out a roar, then Kiryu fired off rockets from his pack, detonating on Zilla. But Zilla was stronger than his predecessors. He could withstand a missile barrage. He charged, leaping up to claw at Kiryu's face, when Varan, seemingly out of nowhere, intercepted just in time. The gap between Zilla and Kiryu was so narrow, that Varan managed to scratch Zilla's jaw with his claws and run his back spines along Kiryu's snout. Zilla fell into a building and Kiryu collapsed behind Varan, who landed, then took off again at a glide. Zilla picked himself back up, climbed up one of the Sturdier skyscrapers, still being light-weight, then leapt when Varan got close enough. He landed onto of Varan, digging his claws in, and they both fell into the street. Kiryu caught up with them, catching a rage power up in the process. It wasn't quite enough for him to go into rage, but it could be stored.

Kiryu fired his gold "atomic ray" at Zilla and Varan, who were now fighting claw to claw. It hit Varan on the back, causing him to fall forward and expose Zilla. Kiryu jetted forward, tackeling Zilla head on. Zilla, still being pushed back, fired his atomic ray at Kiryu. At that range, it was enough to stop Kiryu and make him fall backward. Zilla was detached from Kiryu, and fell back into a building. Varan attacked Kiryu with his tail, sweeping him off his feet the moment he got back up. Kiryu fell into a skyscraper, which crashed down around him.

Varan now glided towards Zilla, unaware that their was a UFO approaching Kiryu. Zilla once again fired his atomic ray. It barely missed. Varan closed in for an attack, but Zilla turned and ran his way through the streets, trying to shake Varan and confuse him so he could lauch a suprise attack. It worked. Varan rounded the corner to see that not only had Zilla dissapeared, but he left a large hole in a building. He faced this hole, wondering if it was safe to go through it. How could Zilla possably go through a building? he wondered. He was about 95 meters high! Then, Zilla burst through the building behind him and bit his leg. The building behind him collapsed. Zilla had never gone through the buildning with the hole in it. He had scratched through as a decoy. And now, as Zilla grasped Varan's leg in his mouth, he was pleased with his work. Varan had to do somthing to shake him off. Fast.

Varan glided higher into the air, trying to shake Zilla off his foot. When he got as high as he could climb, he could feel Zilla's bite weakening. But Varan's sight was dimming, his strength was fading. It was a bad idea to go that high when you were bleeding. Varan just had enough strength left to flip. He did so, and Zilla lost his grip on Varan. Zilla was thrown higher into the air, the thin oxygen and high pressure could cause even large monsters to black out, and would crush any humans. Varan and Zilla both plummeted groundward, unconcious. However, once below the clouds, Varan came back into focus, waking up. He spread his glider wings out and glided just before hitting the ground. Zilla fell into the ocean, waking up at the shock of hitting the water. Kiryu ws up and ready for combat by then, with another rage power up to fill his meter. Now all he needed was the right moment. Zilla had fallen into a rage power up as he hit the surface of the water, and another one hidden below the surface. Varan hit a UFO just as it was dropping one, then found another behind the skyscraper. They all had full rage meters now. From here it was just a matter of who made the final blow....

Kiryu flew forward for a close range shot. Varan flew higher to avoid getting hit, then powered up his spirit bomb. Zilla fired his atomic breath at Kiryu's rocket launchers, destroying them. Kiryu then launched what remained of his pack at Zilla while he was still flying towards him, which pushed Zilla into the next skyscraper before detonating. The building collapse as Varan fired his spirit bomb, which hit both Zilla and Kiryu. Their was a massive explosion, which devoured half the city. Varan landed on a pile of rubble, unsure where his enemies were, or even if they were still alive. it was then that Kiryu grabbed Varan by the ankle from beneath the pile of rubble, and dragged him under. The rubble pile flashed and crackled as the battle beneath raged. Then, Kiryu burst out from underneath the rubble, gripping Zilla by the throat in one hand, and Varan around the ankle in the other. He brought them in front of his chest and took off. This battle would have to be finished where their was nothing they could destroy. As he flew out to the ocean, Kiryu powered up his Absolute Zero cannon. Zilla, seeing his oppurtunity, unleashed his nucleur pulse, forcing Kiryu to drop him into the water and messing up his engines. But he maintained his grip on Varan. Kiryu, unable to maintain his flight, plunged at a harsh angle into the water as he fired his AZC. It froze the surface of the water, and ruptured Varan's chest, forcing him glide into a retreat as he loosened Kiryu's grip breaking the ice on the surface and gliding away. Zilla moved in for an underwater assault. Kiryu turned just in time, and jabbed his electro-knife into Zilla, shocking him and electrifying several meters of water, damaging himself in the process. Kiryu's arm shorted out, and Zilla freed himself. He surfaced, let out a roar, and swam out to see. Kiryu sank to the bottom, waiting for a salvage team. He had failed to kill either monster this time, but at least the city was safe....

Deep space, 2007....

Gigan stirred from his rest in the Vortaak hanger. He had recieved a new order. He launched from the hanger, then entered the warp created for him, following it to Earth.
