The Forbidden Kingdom, the first film where Jackie Chan and Jet Li star together (they fight each other and together), is due out September 9th. It's a great movie. If anyone here hasn't seen it, they should as soon as it comes out.

I was excited about seeing this movie ever since I saw the trailer over the internet, but I have to admit that when I saw it in theaters and the watched the opening scene, I was thinking in anguish: "Oooooh boy... this was a mistake..." because the fighting was obviously fake and cheesy. But then, it turned out that this was the dream of a kung-fu obsessed kid who'd been watching too many martial arts movies. It steadily got better from there, until the kid fell through time. Then things really got going into high gear, and there was rarely a cheesy moment from that point on.
