The Northern Continent of Gaia is covered in ice, and it's various small settlements are mostly research and excavation facilities. It does have a ski resort, and numerous underwater locations accessable by submarine.

Sephiroth appeared in a flash. He approached Ganondorf, who was just leaving his host.

Standing before the flaming, demolished remains of the crashed Y-Wing, Ganondorf reformed from the collecting Black matter, fading to his natural colors as his figure restored to normal. He brushed off his arms for a moment, then turned to Sephiroth, who had just appeared to his convenience.

"Trouble landing, I presume?" he remarked.

"My friend flying got a bit too jittery," the sorcerer responded.

Taking a good look at the planet around them, Ganondorf asked Sephiroth, "Now that we've arrived.... our next objective?"

Sephiroth unleashed a blast of materia, which formed a large circle with several inscriptions in it. It glowed for a moment, then disappeared.

Ganondorf stared at him. "What was that?"

The clouds darkened and gathered. Then, they parted, revealing a great Bahamut dragon. Sephiroth smiled, "That was a summon. Our next objective, Ganondorf, is to ride this Bahamut all the way to Midgar.Once there, I'll let it wreak havoc to draw out members of AVALANCHE. We'll capture Tifa, Cloud's girlfriend, and then we'll go and find what your enemy charishes most. We'll hold them both prisoner and lure the enemies to a designated site, and destroy them together."

Hearing their goal, Ganondorf, who was still staring in awe at the mighty beast Sephiroth had summoned, nodded in agreement to his ally. Both sorcerers then disappeared, Ganondorf into black matter and Sephiroth into dark smoke, and instantly reappeared upon the dragon's back. It let out a great, viscous roar before turning and taking off across the land at high speed.

While Sephiroth laughed manically for a brief moment, Ganondorf stood next to him, arms crossed, and stared ahead into the land contentiously. This meant he would be meeting his old enemy soon. Someone he wanted to thank for his last imprisonment.

As a sadistic grin worked across the Geurodo's face, he joined in on Sephiroth's cackle.
